meeting once in a year.

The Academic Advisory Body normally meets twice in
a year. If need arises, more meetings are held.

Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and
students in academic affairs/ improvements

Departmental Council
under HoD with all faculties as members, are assigned responsibility to
interact with students in respect of their academic affairs & professional
skill development.

All teachers prepare their lesson plans in
conformity with the academic calendar of the college.
·
There is an effective
counselling (Mentor) system in the institute.
·
Individual Councilor
interacts with the students on continuous basis (Minimum two meetings a
semester) to ensure their good academic
progress and all around development
which enable them to perform well in the placement interviews

Students evaluate
performance of teachers and their assessment helps in counseling the concerned
teachers and improve Teaching-Learning Process.

The HoDs and councilors
identify students with special talents and encourage them to excel in those

Mechanism/ Norms & Procedure for
democratic/good Governance

Governing Body of the
institute is constituted as per guidelines issued by AICTE/State Govt. /
Affiliating University / Hon’ble Supreme Court.
·
The faculty members are
recruited as per norms laid down by the AICTE.
·
The pay scales as
notified by Ministry of HRD for Teachers are extended to the faculty.
·
Academic load is
assigned to the teacher based on well established norms notified by AICTE.
·
All academic and
administrative activities of the institute are organized and implemented as per
norms notified by AICTE / State Govt. / Affiliating University.
·
The principal holds
weekly review meeting of all HODs on every Friday. This helps to get ideas and ensure participative decision making.
There is complete transparency both academic as well as in administrative
process.

The teaching faculty and
students are involved in developing and improving teaching –learning process as
well as general administration.
·
The learning and
evaluation process of students is organized as per ordinance issued by M.D.
University, Rohtak.

A Suggestion –Box has
been placed in Admin. Branch to seek suggestions to improve college
administration.
