MEMORADUM OF
UNDERSTANDING
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
has been executed on this day…………………of 2007 between M/s. Indication Instruments,
Faridabad having its Head Office at……Faridabad…………………………(hereafter called the
first party) under the agies of
Faridabad Industries Association and
Apeejay College of Engg., Sohna located & functioning at Sohna–Palwal
Road (hereinafter called the Second Party) in order to make technological
advancement through R & D work and Industry related projects which are of
mutual interest to both the parties
to the extent and subject to the terms and conditions as indicated
hereunder:-
1.
The professional / technical experts from 1st party will visit
2nd party once every month and deliver technical
talk to the faculty and students from BE & M.Tech classes. The talk (s) will be directed to
motivate the students / faculty in the field of Instrumentation for undertaking
real-life
projects and develop prototype
models/solutions.
2.
The First Party will provide technical
facilities to the faculty of second party when they visit their industry. Faculty from Second party will visit the
first party premises each 2nd and 4th Saturday of each
month.
3.
During their visit to 1st
party, the faculty from 2nd party will be apprised of various
processes involved
application of instrumentation (devised/installed) in the
industry. The first party representative may indicate their area of interest for
improving/delivering various processes/products.
4.
The first party will hold technical
seminars periodically at least once in three months at the premises of second
party covering specific technical areas with a view to update the knowledge of students/faculty
in their fields of academic requirement, and attract engineering students to
take R & D work both during summer training as well as final year project work.
5.
The faculty / students from second
party will be deputed to the first party during summer vacations on internship
basis. The amount of internship
payable to the students/faculty will be decided mutually by the
First party & Second party. The
faculty and students from Second party at no time will be more than 5-6 for internship
program. The projects must be completedto get the
certificates.
6.
The First party in association of their
sister organizations will offer consultancy project(s) to the Second
Party’s faculty on a
regular basis. The nature &
scope of the project(s) will be finalized based on the technical competence of the faculty and requirements of the
First Party. The time schedule for
development work ,and amount payable to the faculty of
Second Party will be decided
mutually for each project(s).
7.
The First party will select students
from Second Party through placement process as per their HR practices.BE
students of first party will be selected when they are studying in 7th /
8th Semester of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
8.
First party may invite subject
specialists from Second party to conduct seminar /lectures for creative
development of Second party. The subject and frequency of such lectures will be
mutually decided by both the parties.
9.
First party & Second party
will have association on regular basis and identify other areas of mutual interest for further activities
to be taken up for professional advancement. For the purpose, a monitoring /review
group will
be formed to evaluate the performance of technical collaboration of First Party & Second Party on a continuous
basis. The monitoring preview group
will consist of experts from First Party ,and HOD(ICE)
and senior faculty from Second Party.
10.
This MOU has been agreed for the term
starting from 1st December,2007 t0 30th
November,2008 , and cab be renewed by mutual agreement.
This Memorandum of Understanding
